Guangzhou Garden (Luogukeng Area)-The Sky Trestle is located in the Baiyun Mountain Scenic Area of Guangzhou City, spanning the core area, front area and comprehensive service area of Guangzhou Garden, and is connected to the Baiyun Mountain Cable Car Station. It is an important part of the planning scope of Guangzhou Garden System. The project was undertaken by China State Construction Technology and Industry Group Co., Ltd. The main body of the trestle bridge is a steel structure, with a total length of about 1,100 meters. Along the way, there are landscape nodes such as Baiyun Pavilion, safflower white cotton, old tree stumps, and rainforest eyes.
This section of the aerial trestle is the first phase of the project. The design is based on the theme of the flower of Guangzhou city-kapok. It draws inspiration from the natural forms, lines and shapes of the kapok. From the nodes of the trestle bridge, the rest facilities, to the design of the shading facilities, all of them interpret the changes of kapok in different seasons in an abstract form, which not only provides visitors with an immersive experience, but also gives people the opportunity to observe nature from different angles. The trestle bridge laying materials are all high-resistant outdoor heavy bamboo flooring provided by REBO brand (Fujian Goleden Bamboo Industry Co., Ltd). After completion, it will provide Guangzhou citizens with a new “net red spot” for leisure and punching cards, which will become another beautiful landscape on Baiyun Mountain.
